I wanted to try out some different lighting techniques in The Studio and two perfect models were Charlize and Dezlee.

We went to Janae Canova's wedding in northern Utah and made a family trip to the zoo.

Charlize loved seeing the giraffes.

We rode the carousel and she found a lion statue that she adored!

5.20.12 - At the Clinic

Checking on the garden is a daily event. We love to see how big each of the plants are growing.  Charlize told Nate where Roanie's frog was while he cleaned out the hoof.

Charlize gets some great pictures when she goes around. I actually got this one of Nate smiling :) and of her helping to clean stalls. She was soo proud of how good she worked!

The spring recital was held in the gym of the Middle School. We were sooo happy so many family members came to celebrate her!!

Charlize was still recovering from her rash :( and was NOT in the mood for taking pictures. But we got a few in :) And wearing blue wasn't planned - but a happy coincidence.

5.8.12  Juanita's Birthday - poor Charlize was sick with this rash and while Nate stayed home from work to take care of her, they brought me lunch. By the evening, it was soo much worse and into the night clinic we went.  The first night they called it HandFoot&Mouth but also tested for Strep (which came back negative) but when we returned they treated it as strep and we got on a Rx that helped tremendously!!
