Crawling

Yep - and we're all over the place. Time to get the carpets cleaned. Any suggestions on whom to use? I've rented one from the grocery store before - might try that again. I need to shampoo the couches too.

Watch out world - here she comes! There's no stopping her now!

8 Month Old

I know - I've been bad at updateing lately! Sorry! Taking pictures, planning a wedding and spending time with the bebe have been top priority. I'm looking forward to a little bit of normalacy soon....

SHE'S 8 MONTHS OLD! Oh, how we love this little one!

(I know her bow doesn't match the outfit in these first two pictures - blow out central has its effect on the wardrobe changes...)

• Having fun at the cabin. She loves to be on the grass - but for some reason that foot did not want to touch that day. She sat like that for quite a while, then Daddy picked her up to go see the horses.

• Her personality is coming out, more and more. So much fun! Just working on that ma-ma stuff. She's got Da-da down good!

• After Elle's bridal shower, we were visiting my mom late and needed to get into p.j.'s - luckily Una helped us out with an old pair of Uncle James'. She's a pretty cute little one - even in boy's pajama's. :)
  

More grass - see she loves it! She also is doing much better at smiling for the camera - and loves to see the picture afterward.

• She's rolling force to be reckoned with and has done little crawls, but she'll be at it soon. It's so fun to see progress each day! I'm glad she's taken her time at it. :)

Swimming!

Today we went swimming with my some of my friends,Ashley and Emily, and their cute little ones too. We had planned for Tuesday, but the cool weather kept us away (the break in the heat was really nice though!).

Of course she's so chill - lounging around. :)

The other 2 kiddos are about 2 years old, and she just watches their every move. :) I tried to get a picture of all three kiddos, but missed my chance, so one pic with each will have to do. Isn't she so smiley?!! So inorder to get one of the kids we got in too - my self timer only went to 2 seconds so we had to try it a few times and they were getting fiesty so - they really were happy little swimmers, just doesn't look like it.

(I have since figured out how to make it last 10 seconds - but I don't work well under pressure so its ready for next time...)

Emily's having her baby this week and we're so excited for her!! She was my long-term sub while I was out on maternity leave and how she's having her second! I think she's out of subbing for a long time - her sweet baby girls are going to keep her busy!

Thanks to all those who commented and suggested names for me. I ended up just going with Photos by Juanita - I know it wasn't even on the list, but I'd been rolling it around for a while and this is what helped me decide:

-the other name choices didn't have blogspots available
-there were several other JB or Azul photographers (I know mine's not a buiness, but who know's maybe one day I'll do it more)
-I really wanted my name in it, 'cause really how many Juanita's do you know???

Ok, so I am working on a blog to show them off. Its quite a learning experience for me figuring all this stuff out. I know the pictures are HUGE! I wanted them big, but I didn't expect that big. O, well.

I've got more to post, but here's a start. Each session is so different and I'm learning so much - and having a ball! Thanks to all my "models" who let me practice!!

Also, summer's not going to last forever and my "hobby" will not always have center stage since school will start again. Keep in mind that my good friend Wendy does photography and I just love her work! Check out her site and see the fun pictures she got of Eleanore and Austin too.

Dress Call

Does anyone have a sage green infants' dress, around 9month old size? I despreately need one for Boo for Eleanore's wedding and I've had no luck finding one. My mom's working on having one made but if anyone has one they wouldn't mind me (well, C) borrowing please let me know!

He colors are a deep plum purple, burgandy red and sage green. :) Thanks!!

Hanging Out

Yesterday we went outside to play with Daizy and her little hat just wasn't doing to the trick, so I got Nate's straw hat...much better, but she likes to look at it so it didn't do much protecting. Cute though. She loves to play in her pool, catching her toys and splashing. :)




It has been forever since I'd played volleyball, so I knew a kiddo in my class' mom played and I asked if she ever needed another player to let me know. She invited me to play in a women's grass league, and I had so much fun!! We all had J names: Jenny, Joy, Juanita, Joni. I know pics right after playing aren't the best, but fun to remember.

Sneek Peeks

My little hobby has been keeping me quite busy this past week. I had 3 different sessions, all of a different variety. I'm not finished editing them all, but here's a peek-a-roo.

I took pictures of my friend Ashley and her family to say thanks for watching my kiddo since I went back to work. Her sister Maegan wanted some of her family since they just cut their hair in mowhawks. Don't let the hair fool you - they're sweet as can be, but I just love the spunk! We had alot of fun!


Ok,so I want to put together a blog to show the pictures that I've taken, but I'm stuck on a name. I asked earlier but didn't get much of a response, so I'm begging you - PLEASE COMMENT on a suggested name for my photography. Happy Birthday Mama-sita!!

Yesterday was so much fun!!!

It was my mom's 50th Birthday!!

We went to Las Vegas to meet up with 2 Aunts & a cousin (her sisters and a neice). We got some shopping in and ate too much at The Cheesecake Factory! But it was so fun to see them and to celebrate my Mom's day!

Unfortunatly, I forgot my camera. :( but my cousin had her's and took a lot for us, so I can't wait to get them so I can show you all!

Questions

Does anyone have a shopping cart/highchair cover that they love? I'm debating weither making one or buying one is better. I want it to work on both so I'm not carrying 2 seperate ones.
