I was tagged by my friend Ashley! Rules: Link to the person who tagged you. Write down six things that make you happy. Tag six other people and let them know you did it. Post Rules Let the tagger know when you are done.
1. Nate. He loves me for who I am (strengths & weaknesses) and makes me laugh everyday.
2. Charlize. I never knew how much I would love her nor how much my life would change once she got here.
3. Learning. I love learning how to making things, how to understand things or even just how they work. I'll always want to learn something new.
4. Funny sayings. Like when Meagan and I were on recess duty and a kiddo fell (minor fall but it was going to turn into drama) she said "Oop, man down". Or when I was playing checkers with two kiddos in my class and they were beating me so I said they couldn't get help and W said "Can I be their conscience?". How could you not help but laugh? I laugh just thinking about quirky sayings.
5. Nate's cooking. I love food but dispise preparing or eeven thinking of what to make. He's amazing at it. He even makes me lunches. I am so lucky!
6. Genuine People: friends and family. The people who are true with who they are, what they stand for, and don't hide behind fakeness. Those with the kind of character that makes everyone around them be better people.
I tag Linds, Kami, Joni, Meghan, Makenzie, & Brinlee.Or whomever wants too. :)

Giggles
Last Friday C finally got back to feeling good (after being sick) because she was jabbering away trying to catch up on lost time. We were at my mom's work and Uncle James got her to laugh for a long time. This was at the end (sorry but its fun to enjoy it and then I think "Urgh! I want this on camera" so its always at the end but at least I got some, right?!) Also, sorry you can't see her face, but once she sees the camera she stops so a side profile is all we can get. - Cute overall's huh?!
Make sure you turn off the music on the blog so you can hear.
Enjoy ;)

Happenings in February
My friend Holly and her husband Mike
made our wedding video and I loved it!
Their company is Beyond Memories and I had so much fun working with them I love to spread the word about what they do. I was looking around on their site the other day and realized that they used the first little bit of our video as their demo. Cheezy, but I feel kinda famous. That's as famous as I want to ever get though.
Click here to take you to the clip.
It shows pictures of us when we're babies so you can see the resemblence in Charlize.
What do you think - who does she look more like?
While I'm talking of Holly - I think she's amazing.
She's battling cancer and pregnant with their little boy.
What a strong and amazing woman she is!
Nate's had the "cowboy toy" out for a while & Charlize loves to watch us rope it. Since a few days old, Nate's had her practicing the movements but today she got to rope and she was not letting go. She did well until I got the camera out, but I got a few pictures of our future roper.
Charlize's favoite toy is a giraffe that Nate named Otis, but we call him Odie for short. O, how she loves him. How could you not with a face like that?
For Valentine's Day we wanted to spend it our favorite way - together. I didn't want any cards or flowers - I just wanted a nice day with just the three of us. We actually just spent the day at home and Charlize was our sleepy valentine trying to get better. My dad gave her the cute little stuffed dog and she gave it lots of kisses. We were not going to go out to dinner, but as we were out running a few errands we went to eat at Troy's BBQ which is a new retraunt here in town. (I totally miss Famous Dave's cause I loved their salads) Well, Troy's had a nice atmosphere and the food was good, but at 3:00 am it wasn't showing me much love back - lets just say it helped me lose 5 more pounds of baby weight. It hit Nate too, but it didn't get him out of bed. But we both felt it the rest of the day. Urgh! well no more Troy's for us.
I love Nate so much! What a sweet husband he is! I guess I don't say that very much 'cause we're always talking about our sweet baby, but I am one lucky woman to have an amazing hubby in Nate. XO

Sick Baby
Charlize got a bit of a cold in the early part of January that just seemed to linger on. We were sleeping with a humidifier, using baby Vicks on her feet, saline nose drops and the bulb. The stuffy nose seemed to be getting worse so we went to the Dr. to see if she had allergies or possibly something else. He gave us a different formula to try (yep done nursing since I've been back to work-bummer) and told us that she's too young to tell if she has allergies so we'd just try different nose drops for now.
Well a week went by and her snorting and rumbling seemed to be getting worse so back to the Dr. and this time she had an ear infection- so an antibiotic to try and ear drops. As the next week progressed her chest rumblings were continually getting worse, she was barely drinking 3-4 ounces when she should be at 7 ounces. I've upped the time between feedings so that she gets enough throughout the day. Our worst fear was that it was in her lungs and we weren't doing what we should be to help her.
So this past Tuesday we went in again and they finally confirmed bronchitis. It is still up in her chest and not into her lungs yet. Antibiotics don't work and we were already doing everything we could for her - now we just wait and hope it can all drain and not turn into pneumonia or RSV. Through it all she's been such a good baby and happy.

Just yesterday she's finally back to eating 6 ounces, still a runny nose and a cough but the rumblings have stopped. ( I hope you know what I mean by rumbling -like when you can feel the mucus vibrating in her breathing). I look forward to he smiles and regular patterns to know that she's feeling better. O, how I LOVE the weekends when I can be with Nate and Charlize all day!
