2 Happy Years

Monday the 28th was our anniversary - crazy how fast time is going by. Looking forward to many years, memories and laughter to come. Love ya honey!

24th of July

Pioneer Day weekend always hosts the Enterprise Rodeo and this year there was a new addition to the excitement - Addison. I know I'm biased but I think that my niece is just adorable! The rodeo started at her usual bedtime so some nights she made an appearance and then drifted off to sleep. In a few years the cousins will have fun running around the rodeo together. :P

Nate ribbon roped and team roped - I got them on video, but haven't gotten it transfered over yet so here's some cute pics.

Nate at Work

We don't get to hear much about Nate so I thought I'd devote some blog time to my sweet hubby! Nate was on-call in June and this time I decided I would take pictures to show what he does. Driving around to make turns (turn valves on or off depending on who should be getting the irrigation water). He doesn't always wear the awesome vest, just when he has to go out in the road where crazy drivers might not be paying attention.
There are several pump stations throughout Washington County unnoticed by many because the general public doesn't get a regular look - so today you're lucky.
(Again, Nate's thrilled I'm taking pictures of him :P )
After working for the city he finishes the afternoon by running his business - Dixie Cremation. It is against the law to bury animals in Washington County so he provides this service. This is an incinerator that his Dad and Grandpa built years ago and has worked well, but this year we're upgrading to a larger crematorium in its own building. Updates to come.
Our dog Daisy has been staying at the clinic since I got prego and wasn't doing well with smells and hair shedding, but she gets several opportunities to get out and run around while the boys are working and of course Nate gets in a good visit with her while he's working. She's over a year old now and has calmed down so much! It is cute to see her just love Nate, even curling up on the bench with him when he sat down for a second.
I know he doesn't like when I take pictures of him, but its fun to show you what he does. He's constantly on the go and I'm proud of what a hard worker he is.

I caught him reaching for his phone and just love how he looks a little mysterious in this pic.

Eleanore's Birthday

My little sister turned 18 last Friday and we were definitely excited to celebrate with her. Our Grandma Kika and Grandpa Bob (Mom's parents) came up from California and its been a really nice visit. Addison is growing like a weed and is such a sweet baby! Sunday we had a dinner at Sonrisa and Kelby's house in Enterprise. We got a four generation picture of Addison, Sonrisa, Mom, and Grandma Kika. (p.s. Kika's her nickname. It's actually Juanita and since I was born on Mother's Day, I was named after my sweet Mexican abuela)

4th of July

We spent the Fourth of July holiday weekend at the Gunlock Rodeo. We spent the days in Pine Valley at Nate's parent's cabin and then the rodeo at night. Nate team roped and ribbon roped. Friday night Nate and Chase took third in the ribbon roping bringing home winnings of $16! :P

Eleanore's Grad Pics

I got to take my little sister's graduation pics. Isn't she beautiful. I couldn't figure out how to put them into a collage with her name, so with a little help from SteamRoller Copies we got it put together. Does anyone know of a photo editing programs that would let me create this on my own? I'll add a few others that I loved in a bit.

Summer School

My friend Meghan and I signed up to teach summer school together and its been a fun three weeks. Only 10 or so kids ended up coming and for only two hours a day we did a variety of activities (water balloon volleyball and pattern block pictures to name a few) . My favorite was the books the kids wrote and published. The books replicated a book about compound words and the kids picked their own characters and story line, illustrated and shared their masterpieces.
