Driving around to make turns (turn valves on or off depending on who should be getting the irrigation water). He doesn't always wear the awesome vest, just when he has to go out in the road where crazy drivers might not be paying attention.
There are several pump stations throughout Washington County unnoticed by many because the general public doesn't get a regular look - so today you're lucky. (Again, Nate's thrilled I'm taking pictures of him :P )
After working for the city he finishes the afternoon by running his business - Dixie Cremation. It is against the law to bury animals in Washington County so he provides this service. This is an incinerator that his Dad and Grandpa built years ago and has worked well, but this year we're upgrading to a larger crematorium in its own building. Updates to come.
Our dog Daisy has been staying at the clinic since I got prego and wasn't doing well with smells and hair shedding, but she gets several opportunities to get out and run around while the boys are working and of course Nate gets in a good visit with her while he's working. She's over a year old now and has calmed down so much! It is cute to see her just love Nate, even curling up on the bench with him when he sat down for a second.
I know he doesn't like when I take pictures of him, but its fun to show you what he does. He's constantly on the go and I'm proud of what a hard worker he is.
