May Catch up - in reverse order

Reading Recovery Training Group - We were together every Wednesday nite from 4:30 - 7:30, through the year. Amy in the front was our teacher and I'm sl grateful for all of her patience and love to each of us! I think we all learned SO much and were overwhelmed with the amount of information given to just jump into - but we all made it and will never teach the same again. I'm grateful for Prentiss and Gina (on either side of me) cause I think we helped pulled each other along when we started to get frusterated~ sorry but putting A-type/perfectionist personalities into a new career path, and our expectations high we felt like we weren't doing it as well as we should. Patience and encouragment :) Good friends make all the difference!

I had fun putting her hair in pig-tails (you can kinda see)because her hair is growing so much now! She was so tired she fell asleep after dinner (of course after she finished it all!)

Charlize loves her tutu's that Grandma B got her, and what's more fun is time to share with cousin Addi. These two were twirling and dancing together -as well as, climbing. :) But aren't they cute!

Charlize just LOVES to read and be read to. One nite I went in and this is how I found Nate reading to her. She usually parks her bum in our laps, but this time I suppose she wanted to change it up.

One Sunday evening at my Mom's house, the girls had fun swinging together. Charlize is pretty much lounging back grabbing the back chains.

We were driving around and she just looked so cute and content I snapped some pics. Don't worry, the truck was stopped. I'm just glad I got her to look at me, but o how having a DVD player makes trips so much nicer!

The Art Festival. Not quite what it used to be taking up Main Street. It was kinda warm so we were out enjoying the sunshine.

Hanging with Dad

When laying around watching TV, sometimes Nate will lay on the ground. Charlize loves to get blankets (somehow Nate ended up with it) and copy whatever Dad is doing. :)

Notice Nate's hat on the ground? I know, bad rule to break - hat's don't go on the floor like that. Well, if Nate is at home he has that on 80% of the time. Charlize gets it for him to wear and she puts hers on too. She knows when his hat is on its time to go ride horses. Geez, she'd riade ALL THE TIME if she could. Cute little cowgirl!

Stock Show and Arena - April 24th

In April, James (my not.so.little. lil' brother) showed his lamb at the Jr. Livestock Show. We didn't sit in the stands very much because 1. I hate to since there is NO legroom and I'm a big girl 2. I bid on a random animal on accident and the auctioneer caught it and jokingly took my bid and 3. Sassy wanted to run. So we had fun hanging out on the grass the most. But James did well!

After the stockshow, we went up to the arena with the Graff's. THe girlies were asking to take pictures - willing subjects are the best! So off we went to try something new and capture their jumps. Charlize had fun watching them and wondering why Mommy was on the ground (gotta get low!) but really in the end, I guess she was just tired. When I looked around and saw her laying on the ramp of the trailer I figured the chica had enough for the day. :)

Splash Pad with Addi

We had so much fun with Addi (Aunt Soni and Uncle Kelby too) at the Splash Pad in April. Charlize watched Addi quite a bit since she wasn't too sure about it all at the beginning. But then they played together with the toys, up and down the river and with other kids. O these two are so fun to watch interact and play!

Roping - April 17th

Another evening up at the arena. O how Charlize just loves to ride her horse, play in the dirt and be with her daddy! Its so fun to watch her enjoy it all and want to be right in the middle of it!
The top left picture is Nate with his hat over his head. He likes the pictures where he doesn't have to look, but just once (yea like its the last time ever) I asked him to look and this is what I got. :)

Helping with the ad's

One day, after getting back from Grandma's, Charlize wanted to help go through the ads to find the best deals for groceries that week. Great job she even helped cut them out. :) I know she looks a little sullen - don't worry it's because she plays so much at Grandma's that she's really tired when she gets home.

(This was from back in Feb - she looks so little compared to now!)

Playdate with Kimber - April 15th

In April, we were able to get together with Brinlee and Kimber for a little playdate while they were visiting. Kimber slept for a while since she'd had quite the day and Charlize was so interested in the sleeping baby. :) Soon enough she woke up and came to play. Kimber is such a sweet girl and always looks at me for her pictures (unlike Charlize who thinks its more fun not to) :) The girls are so cute and it was fun to catch up with Brin!
