Charlize's Christmas Dance recital was another chance to get up on the "big stage and dance!" She was very excited!

Trip to Arizona for the Dallas Cowboys vs. Arizona Cardinals game!
(Adam and Diana surprised us by getting hitched on the way) :) and of course we knew Adam needed to support the others, just going against the group :)

Our hotel was right by a Bass Pro Shop so we went in to look around and had fun playing with the toys out to try!

Charlize and I made the Gingerbread house kit :)  She loved putting all the candy on it! Of course we ate some in the process!

This one's sad :(  Charlize has been coming into my side of the bed in the morning.  She fell off the bed and was crying but I just picked her up and calmed her down thinking she'd scared herself by falling. I felt so bad when we woke up and saw she'd actually hit her head on the nightstand and had an owie :(

At the store checkout it's not uncommon for random item to jump into the cart at the end.  When I went to put these back, Charlize was certain we needed them.  She said "I got a treat for you and me".

Again coming to sleep on my side of the bed at 3 am. This time, the horse family came with her. Daddy, Mommy and the baby. She loves playing with all her horses, but for a while it was the family she brought with her everywhere.

Christmas Eve Eve with my side of the family. The 5 grandkids/neices and nephews: Fallon (1), Charlize (3), Jadon (1.5), Brecken (1), Addison (3.5).  There were also 3 still cooking due Feb, Marcha and June. We had a yummy dinner and gift exchange. :)

I'm really bummed!! I took pictures with my little camera at Christmas with our family and Nates - but they are no where to be found and the camera is lost as well. :( Urgh, it makes me sick thinking I lost those pictures!!!

I was able to get Alecia (aleciadawnphotography.blogspot.com) to take our pictures again. I think we were her first session back from Maternity leave and I'm sooo grateful to have these images! I'm 4 months pregnant at this time and already feeling it! :) So getting these done pronto was a must!

We all know family picture day is CrAzY!! I do know however, that looking at the images afterward don't show it....and I'm SOOOO in Love with these! :)

I received a scholarship to attend After Dark Eduation's Tucson workshop (photography) I was beyond thrilled that I got to go again and saw so many friends that I'd made in Vegas in February! Being pregnant was a little harder to travel getting everything ready and being up for the crazy schedule that it is.  I was so excited that Nate's cousins were down there and while the resort we were at was out of the way, they were so sweet to come get me at the airport and again for dinner one night. :)

Charlize wanted to color her Rapunzle page while I was doing the dishes, so she brought it into the kitchen. She's wearing the pig "happy-feet" pajama's that Una gave her. She *LOVES* her "happy-feet" pj's - and asked for more this Christmas.  And while she loved the movie "Happy Feet", the pj's have had the animal face on the 'feet' and they're always smiling :)

While watching a dancing show on TV, she wanted to join in and hurried to get her tutu on :)

Nate took Lucky Boots on the Chuckawalla ride. He sent this picture showing that she reached a point she didn't want to follow anymore.



It was her friend Grace Tebbs' brithday party and I had to work, but Nate was able to take her. They went to Bell Taco (Dell Taco) where she loves to get soft tacos and only eat the meat and cheese. 

Then off to the party at the farm.  I got there at the end, but she had fun painting the horse, bobbing for apples and playing with all the kids :)

 

Thanksgiving day - we went to my Dad's parents house for dinner and we were able to visit with Aunts, Uncles and cousins I hadn't seen in years! Did I take any pictures - no :( bummer!

Black Friday: We didn't get up and out for any shopping, but my dad wanted to take the girls to a movie and they picked "Puss in Boots".  They loved getting their snack tray and watching the movie with Granddad :)

Fishing in Pine Valley. It was much colder this time! We went to a different part of the stream (than usual) and Charlize & I went on a little walk of our own. I found that silly face in the mud and showed her that cute caterpillar!

Birthday Present from Aunt Cheryl. She loved how soft it was and even better that it had a dog AND a blanket with it! :)

CALIFORNIA TRIP

We went to LA to support Danielle as she was one of the Homecoming Princesses. :) Josh played in the band so we got to see him perform too!

To the beach! We went down to San Diego and Charlize got to play in the ocean for the first time! Cousin Robbie came with us and we met up with Sonrisa, Kelby, Addison and Brecken. It was too chilly to play in the water (well all the way) but Charlize loved it!

Charlize's 3rd birthday!

For Halloween she wanted to be Rapunzel from the movie Tangled, so we incorporated the fun into her birthday party. This was her first to have a friend party too. Thankfully I found some fun resources for examples of games and decor. I made the tower out of sweet rolls and Styrofoam. Then added the vines and leaves with frosting. We put artificial flowers in the cupcakes and had jello-boats for a treat. Charlize helped me make the banner and *Loves* to play with the yarn braid that Nate and I made. :)

How to keep all of the kiddos entertained? We played "Pin the Frying pan on Flynn" which became a spontaneous game of tag. We colored pictures of the characters from the movie, and decorated sun-shaped sugar cookies (Nate made them for me!)

I made pascal blowers for each of the kiddos :)

Friend gifts! :) Such sweet kiddos to help Charlize celebrate her birthday!

After the friends left, we had dinner for the family. :) Aunt Diana, Grandpa Craig and Grandma Denise, Great-Grandpa Coach and Great-Grandma Lorraine, GG and Papa, Una (Grandma Patte), Brinlee & Kimber Morris stayed, Addi and Aunt Sonrisa had to head back to Enterprise, Aunt Eleanore& Cousin Fallon, were there to enjoy the yummy brauts, potatoes and salad.

This Halloween, Charlize wanted to be Rapunzel. A teacher friend let us borrow a beautiful Rapunzel dress and I found an adult wig that matched her haircolor and put braids and flowers in it. I dressed up as Gothel, the 'mother' in Tangled that actually stole Rapunzel. Very few people got my costume, they thought I was just a witch. Well, Charlize liked knowing we were the characters from the movie, and I did my best to squeeze into the closest dress I could find.

I brought her to the school parade :) and then that evening we went to Grandma and Grandpa Brinkerhoff's. Cousin Addi and Brecken came with us for a little while as we went around to a few of the newighbors. Then she had fun passing out candy to all the kids that came up Trick or Treating.

I just love this picture of her holding the little frog (supposed to be a chameleon, but I couldn't find one!) She was just adorable with that wig on. :) Definitly fun to have her to dress up with!
